One lesson we've learned is that there are VERY FEW shops out there that can do it all -- and if they CAN, they know it (and charge accordingly). You will see a couple of "restoration shops" on our list who can do it all. But these shops stay very busy. There are a few that will address about any repair needed by your classic Cadillac — such as Cadillac of Lake Lanier (our dealership partner). But we recommend that you get some help diagnosing the main problem, then choose someone on this list who can specialize in that issue: There are specialists listed who do engine work, transmission work, paint and body, radiators and heater cores, interiors and tops, etc.
You know, one of the best things you can do is come join us for a Peach State Cadillac CLINIC. We have one at least quarterly, and they are noted in the calendar. If you get in touch with Tom Di Nucci or Doug Bailey they can get you on the list of three to five cars for that clinic to focus on. On the day of the clinic a bunch of us will get together for coffee and hanging out. We will put your car up on a lift and give it an inspection — and you will leave with a "to do" list for your car. You can always give one of us a call or send us an email and we will help you make some decisions about that car.
Remember, we ALL have issues from time to time with our Cadillacs' maintenance and repairs. So, please do not let that keep you from joining us on one of our many club outings.
