Under the Hood
If you’re a Cadillac guy or gal you know that there’s more to the hobby than just driving and waxing the car. Most of us have been into collector cars since we were little – a number tell stories of building and customizing model cars before they could reach the pedals of their bicycles. Our members also own a range of other collectible marques and muscle cars: Packards, Hupmobiles, Lincolns and Chevelles, Bonnevilles and Corvettes to name a few. Our folks have these two things in common:
(a) We love sharing what we know about maintaining and troubleshooting these old pieces of machinery; and
(b) We love learning something new about technical matters (without having to admit what we don’t know).
This section is authored by a range of members, in a range of topics, and it’s ALL here for you to discover what your car needs to keep it running well!

Cadillac Clinic
At least once a quarter our members come together for a Saturday or a Sunday afternoon getting dirty. We meet at either Bill Marsh’s shop near downtown Atlanta or at Cadillac of Lake Lanier in Gainesville, usually from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We have had as many as 20 folks show up – guys and gals – to drink coffee, eat donuts and learn something about their cars from our fellow club members. Get in line and we’ll lift your pride-n-joy up in the air to see what should go on your to-do list next! Call Doug Bailey or Tom Di Nucci for a place in the queue!

Tech Talk
Over the years we have addressed many of the “hot topics” of the old car world... Is today’s oil good for your old engine? Why do we have to run on old fashioned bias ply tires? What’s the best way to put my car away for the winter? What’s the best way to get my car ready for the spring driving tours? Each time we tackle one of these topics we try to document our ideas so that our members can find answers when an issue confronts them. SO, consider this our “library” of Tech Topics. It will grow over time as we do more and more research. (This beats trying to find it in an old copy of the newsletter, eh?) Got a topic you’ve researched? Let us know!

Recommended Mechanics,
One of the most frequent requests we get is “Who do you recommend to fix my old Cadillac?” More than a few of our newer members join us just to get help finding parts and someone they can trust to work on their Cadillacs. Well, we have compiled decades of experience in these two lists to share it with YOU! You'll discover our recommendations for trusted mechanics as well as a significant listing for parts suppliers and vendors we have used over the years. Good luck with your search! It wasn’t this easy even ten years ago!
